This notice explains how CaddyMeGolf handles personal information during our caddie recruitment soft launch.
Last updated 15 September 2026When you apply, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, town or area, golf and course experience, availability, preferred fee, profile introduction and profile photo. We also keep your application reference, review status and messages about the decision.
We use this information to review your application, contact you about its progress, create an approved caddie profile and prepare you for future booking requests. We process the information because you have asked us to consider you for the CaddyMeGolf service and because we have a legitimate interest in operating a safe, trusted marketplace.
Your email address, mobile number, private status link and review notes are never included in your public profile. Public profiles contain only approved profile information such as your name, photo, general location, golf experience, courses, availability, services and fee.
Private application details are restricted to the CaddyMeGolf owner and service providers needed to host the site, store applications and deliver essential emails. We do not sell applicant information or provide contact lists to advertisers or data brokers.
Declined or withdrawn applications will normally be deleted within 12 months. Approved application records are kept while the profile is active and for up to 24 months after it closes where needed for administration, disputes or legal obligations. We may keep a minimal suppression record when necessary to honour a deletion or contact request.
You can ask for a copy of your information, correct it, withdraw an application or request deletion. You may also object to or ask us to restrict particular uses. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
Caddie applications are linked to a verified signed-in account. If you save an unfinished profile, its details and prepared photo remain private and are available only to that account. Application status links contain a long private access token; keep yours private and contact us if you believe it has been shared.
The soft-launch site does not use advertising trackers. Essential hosting and security services may process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site.
